Northwest student wins National Aboriginal Student Award

Trisha Stevens, originally from Gingolx, has been named as one of 10 recipients of the 2010 RBC Aboriginal Student Awards to help with post secondary expenses.

She is currently enrolled at UNBC where she is working towards a Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting.  The award, worth $4,000 annually for up to four years can be used to cover tuition, textbooks, supplies and living expenses.
